Pride

So a few weeks ago Steve and I went to our first Pride here in San francisco. It was fun but slightly disappointing. The parade had very few acutall floats and it was rediculously long. So long infact that we had to leave. We went on saturday to see the fair area, bad idea. there was nothing there. I never got to see leather ally or anyhting really. So hopefully I have learned my lessons and will have a better time  next year.

Steve and I went hiking at the dunes around the old fort near our house. We had never been up there before. It was beautiful. It was part of our effort to actually attempt to use this city to its fullest advantage. We have been sorely lacking in time and adventurous spirit of late. BUt now afterour first four day weekend on steves new work less live more scheldual. I am hoping he will stay on this program for a little while at least but he just did an interview with Oogalabs, so he may or may not be starting a new job.

Now for recovering...

Excitingness is tiring

Life has been way too exciting lately. Steve finally finished his months long never get a say off even on the weekends project. Now He is olny working 3 days a week. So what does that mean? Hardcore hanging out. Today was the second day in a row of adventuring. Yesterday was downtown: buffulo burgers, civic center, shoe buying, park siting, library gawking, goodwill donating etc. Today we went hiking, boat rowing, pina colada drinking, movie watching, nursery browsing, sand buffing (high wind at beach), and now generally lazing about. For many poeple this may sound like a fantasticlly slow day but give this hermit a pass. I am toast.

40 Balls!

Taking in to mind that each one of these takes a day of work to make and that hand sewing five days a week makes my fingers want to fall off making 40 of these things (almost half way to my planned 100) makes my all proud inside.
