Emily Eifler is a freelance designer, digital artist, and dances with Axis Dance Company

As a designer she is focused on concept generation and experience design research and developing user computer relationships. She has experience with branding effots, web and app design, print ads and more.

Her art practice centers around creating prints, custom software, and sculpture. Her materially diverse projects stem from the concept of Organismhood, which she defines as the state or condition of being an organism. Examples include abstract fiber models of physiological boundaries, constructed growing/dying geometries, an elaborately fabricated future in which new life arises from plasticized oceans, and a place for living diagrams. She approaches her practice as a tool for making the unseen seen, like a telescope or MRI.

Originally from Colorado she now lives and works in San Francisco. She has an MFA from the California College of Art and a BFA from the University of Colorado. She has shown her work at the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Institution and the Armory show in New York.
